Assist “Open Online Catalogue of Intercultural Tools for Vocational Education and Training”

At assist International HR the main focus is on encouraging international growth in the business field with customised international Human Resource solutions. One of assist’s core competences is Intercultural Communication. assist international HR has participated in several EU funded projects some of which – though not directly linked to the internationalization of volunteer work – could also be interesting for this target group.

In particular there is the “Open Online Catalogue of Intercultural Tools for Vocational Education and Training” which resulted out of the EU funded project CIT4VET and addresses the need for more intercultural competences in VET education. With its Online Catalogue of Accessible Intercultural Tools to be used in training of culturally diverse groups and its intercultural training material for self-study and trainings CIT4VET could be a helpful platform also for volunteers wanting to internationalise and seeking for a better understanding of intercultural communication.
