Multiplier Events in Germany by assist International

Assist International HR organised four multiplier events in February, March and April 2022 to spread the results of two years of international collaboration on the EU-funded project CTV – Complex Toolbox for Volunteers. Due to the pandemic crisis all events were held online. However, as the presented platform consists primarily of online training material and a database of selected and categorized online tools the opportunity to present online was, in this case, a helpful addition to underline the relevance of online accessible material for volunteer work and training.

Most of the participants are intercultural trainers and coaches, an ideal target group because sensitive to topics related to volunteer work, like diversity and inclusion, migration, and cultural awareness.

The reactions to the presentation of the CTV Project products were very positive. In general, the discussions showed that participants recognized the relevance of the topic and agreed on the advantage of having an online tool like the database as well as online material for self-study to help volunteers to internationalise. Proof of the participants’ enthusiasm is shown by their asking for a further introductory session to the tool.
