CEV recently announced the candidates for the European Volunteering Capital 2023 title – in alphabetical order: Asti (IT), Birgu (MT), Oeiras (PT) and Trondheim (NO). Their candidacy can be followed online at #EVCapital2023 and the winner will be announced in a December ceremony held by the current European Volunteering Capital, Berlin. The European Volunteering Capital title awards municipalities who promote and support volunteering and solidarity, further developing the volunteering activity and infrastructure at local level. The title has been around since 2014 and was held by municipalities across Europe, who are part of CEV’s European Volunteering Capital Candidates’ Community, a group who constantly work together to foster collaboration and innovation in volunteering support across Europe.
