Skills development

The aim of the project is to increase key competences and skills of the students - the skills necessary on the labor market. Moreover, the project aims to increase teachers' skills and qualifications.

Stowarzyszenie - Szkola przy Malborskiej (PL)

Stowarzyszenie - Szkola przy Malborskiej is a non-governmental organization started in 2010. The institution is the governing body of a school - Szkola Podstawowa im. Bl. Celiny Borzeckiej in Cracow (a Public Primary School). The school's friends along with students' parents form Stowarzyszenie - Szkola przy Malborskiej.

-educating students on the subject of civic rights and obligations
- developing mathematical skills of the students involved
- promoting entrepreneurship among students while arranging meetings with business owners
- involving students with special educational needs (arranging additional didactic and revalidation classes for them)
- increasing skills and qualifications of the teachers - arranging various courses and promoting postgraduate education
- increase of key competences and skills necessary on the labor market and important for students

- gaining more qualifications and skills by 174 teachers
- increasing skills and competences of the students - the skills that will later help them get a job (1391 students)
- supporting students with special educational and developmental needs (excluding gifted students, in this particular period of developing their socio-emotional competences).

Quality Standards of project with volunteers

I declare that my project meets all the quality requirements here listed

  • There are clear, planned outcomes for the local community based on identified needs.
  • Volunteers bring added value to the project and don’t replace paid staff.
  • Volunteers are recruited, trained and managed according to the quality volunteer management cycle.
  • The conditions of the opportunity are inline with the relevant legal framework in the country/ region concerned. Eg regarding insurance, expenses payments, agreements/contracts etc.
  • The volunteers are celebrated and thanked for their time and commitment.


  • The organization providing the volunteer opportunity demonstrates an inclusive approach. Volunteers from all backgrounds and situations are welcome.


  • There is the opportunity for the learning acquired through volunteering to be validated, if the volunteer desires it.
